Meet the Teacher {Linky}

So excited to be linking up with "Falling Into First" for a Meet the Teacher Linky. If you are anything like me, you spend countless and mindless minutes and hours reading blogs, gathering teaching ideas. (It's definitely my hobby!) I have met so many teachers from around the world and have gathered so many fabulous ideas in the process. This linky gives us a chance to meet some of the teachers that we read regularly or meet some new teachers we may have just stumbled upon.

So here's a little about me...

I'm Kaitlin---The "K" in K&C Love Grade 3

 

I live in Ontario, Canada. I am entering my 8th year of teaching and have taught at 12 schools! (I get bumped because of seniority and enrollment). I have taught just about every grade and have LOVED just about every one.... which clearly tells me that I am meant for this career! It makes me happy!! (most days- lol).

 

I have been married to the love of my life for a little over 3 years. We LOVE to travel, play sports, watch movies and dine together. Most of all we LAUGH A LOT together. We have been on many adventures so far and I can't wait for ones to come :)

 

What I have been up this summer:

A little reading...

 

And a whole lot of relaxing! I can't complain!

 

 

 

THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...

Travelling. Drinking good wine. Working-out outdoors. Playing sports. Tea lattes.

Grilled cheese sandwiches & tomato soup. The show Fixer Upper. Pottery Barn. A warm sweater on a cool day. Manners.

 

IF YOU WEREN'T A TEACHER, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO BE?

An interior decorator .... or a professional classroom decorator. But I can't really imagine being anything other than a teacher, to be honest.

Q: IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY AND YOU CAN INVITE ANYONE {DEAD OR ALIVE} TO THE PARTY. WHO ARE YOU INVITING? 

I am going with people who make me laugh--because life is too short to be a crab.

  

Jimmy Fallon- He does the best imitations and I just love his humour and laugh!

Paul Rudd- He's my movie boyfriend, plus he's sarcastically funny.

My friend Sue- Because she's nuts and would love to sit with these two. We would have a hoot!

 

 Q: IF SOMEONE WROTE A BOOK ABOUT YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD BE THE TITLE?

Teleportation. I would love to be on a vacation pronto-- no waiting in airports, driving in a car etc.

My sister and I use to sing this ALL THE TIME growing up. Whenever it's on, we automatically begin a duet!

I love sleep, so I guess I am neither. Ha!
